Services Provided
We offer professional painting and decorating services, including interior and exterior painting, wallpaper hanging, surface preparation, colour consultations, and decorative finishes for both residential and commercial properties.
Booking & Payments
- All work must be booked in advance through our website, phone, or in person. A written quote will be provided before any work commences.
- A deposit may be required to secure your booking, the amount of which will be confirmed at the time of quoting.
- Final payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept bank transfers and cash payments.
- If a payment fails or is not received, we reserve the right to pause or cancel work until the outstanding balance is settled.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Clients must cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before the agreed start date to avoid charges.
- Late cancellations may result in a charge to cover any materials already purchased or preparation work already completed.
- Deposits are non-refundable unless the cancellation is made within the notice period stated above.
- Refunds for completed work are only issued in cases of demonstrable fault on our part, assessed at our discretion.
Client Responsibilities
To allow us to carry out work safely and efficiently, you agree to the following:
- You must ensure clear and safe access to the areas where work is to be carried out prior to our arrival.
- You must inform us of any known hazards, such as damp, mould, asbestos, or structural issues, before work begins.
- You are responsible for removing or adequately protecting any furniture, fixtures, or personal belongings in the work area. We will take reasonable care, but accept no liability for items left in the workspace.
- You must ensure that pets and children are kept away from active work areas for their safety.
Liability
We take every care to deliver a high standard of workmanship. However, the following limitations apply:
- We are not liable for any pre-existing defects in surfaces, walls, or structures that may affect the quality or longevity of our work.
- We are not responsible for any damage caused by issues outside of our control, including but not limited to damp, subsidence, or faulty substrates not disclosed prior to work commencing.
- Any claims regarding the quality of completed work must be raised within 14 days of project completion.
Use of Website & Content
- All content on our website (text, images, project photography, etc.) is owned by Artisan Coats and may not be copied, distributed, or modified without prior written permission.
- You may use the website only for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Termination of Services
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services for:
- Non-payment or outstanding balances
- Repeated cancellations or failure to provide access
- Aggressive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour toward our staff
- Failure to provide a safe working environment
